Oregon
At the end of the summer we visited Oregon. Sharon and her relay team did the big Hood to Coast race from Mt. Hood to the Pacific Ocean. 200 miles! Then we drove down beautiful highway 101 for several days. Then to Tracktown USA in Eugene. And then impressive Crater Lake National Park. And finally a few days in the Portland area.
We are all about the pace....No trippin'! Team photo the day before the race with Mt. Hood in the background. Click to Enlarge

We spent a couple nights in Seaside after the race after Chris arrived at the finish. Just north of there near Astoria is Lewis and Clark National Park with a cool re-creation of the Corp of Discovery's wintering quarters at Fort Clapsop. Click to Enlarge
