We headed to San Francisco. We were very impressed with Muir Woods and the 100 meter tall redwoods there!

Chris took on the Excape from Alcatraz Triathlon. Finishing the swim from the infamous island was like an army beach invasion!

There were inspiring sights the whole course, and the Golden Gate was a key feature in the bike and run.

In June we celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary in Grand Lake!

July 4th was a fun day with a race in Palmer Lake with none other than Frank Shorter!

And we had a fun visit to Illinois to visit family. Here are the Kennedy ladies

Travis and Sydney celebrated their wedding in August along with a big family get together

Rose and David visited Colorado too. We had a rather spectacular light show one evening with this electric rainbow

We spent a day in Denver seeing some sighs including Red Rocks

There was a fun day of cycling in Colorado Springs when the Pro Challenge came to town
